Founded in 1974 by David Farley in Rockport, Maine, Farley Inc. has become a testament to what it means to be a family-owned and operated business. Starting out in his home garage on Union Street in Rockport, David and a small team of around a dozen individuals would start providing lawn and garden maintenance services for their clients. From these humble beginnings Farley Inc. formed its founding principles: a commitment to quality and dependability, which would guide the company for decades to come.

Throughout the years, David and his wife, Carole, transformed the business from a small lawn and garden company to an enterprise that offers a wide range of comprehensive landscaping services. They broadened their offerings to include year-round, full-service maintenance, landscape construction, earthwork, stonework & masonry, and shoreline stabilization solutions. Through periods of business growth and technological advancement, Farley Inc. has remained steadfast in its unwavering commitment to its founding principles.

Fast forward over fifty years and Farley Inc. still upholds its familial values. David and Carole’s children and grandchildren have taken over the family business, upholding the same emphasis on the founding principles of quality and dependability.
