Many things have changed in the earthwork business over the years – GPS, automated controls, computerized layout, and CAD files. While Farley, Inc. is constantly updating our equipment to take advantage of these changes, it is important to not loose sight of the things that should never change: namely – attention to detail, good communication, strong work ethic and thorough project oversight. This focus has allowed Farley, Inc. to become one of the major players in the Midcoast earthwork market over the past decade.
Whether your earthwork project is as simple as resurfacing a camp road or as complex as constructing a new compressed natural gas terminal you can rest easy knowing that our crew of highly skilled and trained earthwork staff will bring their decades of earthwork experience to use on your project.
Some of the earthwork services we provide:
Every year brings new regulations for controlling erosion on construction sites. Our company is certified with the Maine DEP in Erosion Control Practices. This certification was awarded to Farley, Inc. because several of their employees have been trained in the latest Best Management Practices (BMP) and environmental laws to help protect their client’s properties and the state’s waters from the adverse effects of soil erosion.
Farley, Inc. offers complete snow removal services for residential and commercial clients. Our services include plowing, sanding/salting, shoveling, roof raking, and loading and trucking services. We use the latest products and equipment in the snow removal industry to provide the best service possible.
We are experienced in providing snow removal for large complex sites such as hospitals, housing developments, retail centers, banks, municipalities and more. When the snow starts to fall, we mobilize. This assures that we get to your facility quickly to keep the site open and safe. We offer businesses and municipalities an early morning inspection service.
Here in midcoast Maine we tend to get some rain and wet snow storms which turn to ice. Farley, Inc., Inc. offers sanding and salting of driveways and walkways to allow you safe passage at your site. We utilize salted sand, winter salt and salt brine products at your site to treat your icy areas.
If a large amount of snow has fallen and the piles are getting too much for your site, we have the equipment to load up the snow and remove it from the site. Your roof may need some snow removal as well. Give us a call and we will evaluate how the snow can be safely removed from your roof.
We have personnel that maintain sites in Knox County and other Maine municipalities. We service several communities including Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Belfast, Hope, Lincolnville, Thomaston, Union and Searsport as well as other surrounding towns. Contact us today for a snow removal seasonal estimate at 207-236-4787 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The design of the outdoor space around your commercial or municipal property should reflect your surrounding community, it’s tastes and culture, while at the same time must respect the context and constraints of local codes and zoning ordinances Whether you are looking for an addition to an existing landscape or a complete landscape design plan, our designers will use the knowledge gained through an initial meeting with you and your business or organization and a careful observation of the existing conditions impacting your site to create a landscape that fits into its surrounding context and makes a meaningful statement.
The final design will be a scaled drawing that can be used to lay the landscape out on the ground. Hardscape materials, and other pertinent information will be specified so that the final plan can be used as a bidding document. We can also provide a color rendered plan and other drawings to help you visualize what the landscape will look like.
